Congratulations! Dog ownership is wonderful. And since they're pack animals, having her inside will make her more a part of the family - it's so worth it. All dog signals are different (Scarlett rings a bell on our back door to go out, Fiona whines), so even if you had a dog before you might have missed her signals - you will learn a lot about each other in the coming months - be prepared for a few more accidents. And also learning which cleaners your carpet prefers!

Welcome to the wonderful world of greyhounds. Be aware, they are like potato chips - you can't have just one. I have 4. My daughter and I, 4 greys and 3 cats all live happily together in a Pennsylvania townhouse.
Except for a lot of big sleeping pillows all over the place - at least 2 per dog, one in living room, other is bedroom - you would hardly know they are around.
Enjoy your pooch. This is the greytest breed of all. Good luck.
