Vitamin C and Zinc - take them. A lot of them. Change clothes often (the GERMS! they are on your clothes!) Wash everything that comes into contact with anyone who is mildly sick. If you can't stomach washing sheets daily, at least change pillowcases daily. Do not re-use towels until the illness threat has passed. It's your best defense.

Although, by the time you read this you may have already succumbed to the bug. In which case...sleep.

Good luck with that sleeping thing. Landon is only 20 months old and I can't remember when he started sleeping through the night...but I do remember my dr.'s advice which was...hear him cry...wait 2-3 minutes...you can generally tell if he'll settle back down or if he's working himself into a frenzy. He does still wake 2 or 3 times a week, but he settles himself backdown. (Grain of salt: I couldn't bring myself to do that until he was 13 or 14 months - until then, he cried, I went to him.)
