A few nights ago I was looking at some pictures N had taken and commented that my fingers look kind of thin in photos. My loving husband’s response? You think? Your fingers are freakishly skinny and look like that face-sucker in Alien. Why, thank you, dear.

I don’t believe that I ever used the term “face sucker”, but I do stand by my comparison.
I do see the resemblance, but also agree with Emily, you’d look funny with short wider fingers since you’re so tall.
