I know you are all on pins and needles. Undoubtedly everyone has been unable to sleep the last few days, awaiting photos of my new haircut. So now, I shall give you the great before and after shots:
The Night Before, A Short Photo Essay:
Once, there was a woman who called herself Nonsoccermom. And she had really long hair.
Reeeeeeeeeeeeally long hair. The End.

Much shorter, with 100% less ugly! Whee!
I tried a new salon this time on the recommendation of a friend, and I liked the stylist – Celeste – so much that she has earned herself a new regular customer (and a $5 tip, which is a lot for me because I am stingy). She listened to my hair woes, and cut it based on what she thought would look best. AND she refused to cut bangs for me today, because “That’s a little much to get used to all at once – let’s see you you like this first.”
So, to sum up: Celeste is my new BFF, and I love my new hair. Of course, I haven’t tried to style it myself yet.

It looks great! And kudos to Celeste for not being overzealous!! I’m still having nightmares from my last trip to the “salon” (if you can call Great Clips a salon…) with the crazy woman who just chopped off 7 inches without me even okaying it. Yay for you and your new haircut!!!
