Day #4 – I got nothin’
Today I have been very, very lazy. I had to take AE to get his stitches out at 1 p.m., and after that we went and made arrangements for his birthday party next month. And that’s about it.
Oh, yeah, we also went in search of freaking manila paper which we still couldn’t find. So tonight we’ll have to take all the rest of his school supplies up to Meet the Teacher Night and look for the paper this weekend.
OH MY GOD. This is what I’ve been reduced to. Complaining about manila paper. Let’s see, what else, quick, anything interesting before people start dropping dead from boredom. Um. OH! I dyed my hair last night. See:

I e-mailed that photo to my mother at work with the message “Hi Mom, I dyed my hair!”
Her response was: “Wow! Quite a shock, but I love it! I yelled out and my team members came running. They approve, as well!”
So yeah, it’s really different but so far I am really happy with it. Of course, we’ll see how I feel after it has been washed a couple of times and/or starts to grow out. It’s very drastic from my natural shade so my roots will be hella obvious.
And, that’s really all I have to say today. A very slow boring day, but after yesterday’s Great Kidney Stone Debacle I’ll take it. Oh, and by the way, Miss T was significantly less of an asshole last night. She only screamed for about five minutes after I put her down. I’m hoping this means that since she went from two hours the first night, to thirty minutes the second night, to five minutes last night, that tonight will be scream-free. Right? Yes? Of course, a friend is supposed to come over tonight after the kids are asleep so I’m guessing this means I should expect that she’ll scream well into tomorrow…stay tuned for what is sure to be a riveting update on Day #5.

I love your hair! I was thinking about going more burgundy next time…Going dark made me really happy, so I hope you like it.
May I recommend a few things? No? Too bad.
* Use cold water as much as possible. It is awful and horrible, but it will help you keep your color.
* Use Pureology shampoo and conditioner. ‘Tis spendy, but really combats fading.
* Wait as long as you can stand to wash your hair for the first time. Seriously. Like 3 days if you can make it. HATS! We like hats!
That’s all I’ve got. I found gray hairs yesterday, so I hate myself, but at least I have an excuse to color more often. I NEED TO COVER THE GRAYS, Y’ALL.

I laughed out loud when you called Miss T an asshole!!! I can totally relate as Nathan has been more of a whiney, cranky butt this week! This, too, shall pass I suppose……

Glad to hear that T’s screaming fits have decreased
And you are inspiring me to make a hair-change of my own…
