This is me.

Me in San FranciscoI am 30 years old, married to a wonderful man (N), and I’m the mom of a wonderful son (AE) and a fabulous daughter (Miss T). We live in Texas, where N and I were born and raised. We lived in Colorado for a while but it was too expensive so we found our way back. Now we live in the town where we went to college, and have decided that it is the perfect place to raise our family.  If you want to know more about my husband and the kids, you can find that  over here.

I love traveling, reading magazines and watching movies, and have been known to do a little scrapbooking when the mood strikes. (Which unfortunately hasn’t been since, oh, July?  Of 2008?)  For more things that I love, check this action out.

I named this blog NonSoccerMom because if there is one thing I hate, it is being the subject of a stereotype. I adore my kids and I love being a mom, but I have an identity beyond that and that’s the way I like it. I’m not just Mom, I am me. Having the title Mommy doesn’t define me as a person. So there.
