We did the whole watch tv thing too and were surprised (insert sarcastic tone here) that she wouldn’t go to bed on her own. We finally just had to suck it up and put up with a few weeks of crying. Each night got less and less. I found going back in just confuses them. I know it is mean but put your iPod on and try not to go in. It will be hard but you are teaching her a valuable life lesson (learning to fall asleep on her own). I know there are people that disagree and think it is better to do the whole co-sleep thing but it just didn’t work for us. Good luck!
Btw, thanks for leaving me a comment to let you know that you will be participating in my Movie Madness carnival on June 3rd. I just posted about a giveaway that you may want to enter:

Good luck. AD always ALLEGEDLY went down for naps at daycare with ease too. Whatever.
