I love that hair! When I had highlights, I went close to my natural color and then just had some pieces around my face lighter. I only did a partial highlight, which was cheaper. I usually went about 10-12 weeks between visits.

It depends on how fast your hair grows, though. I got tired of spending money, so I finally got my hair colored all one color. The highlights still peek through though, which is nice. I’m about at the point where I’m going to go to a cheaper place for my haircuts and look into coloring my hair myself.

You could maybe go to a fancy salon to get the cut and color and then go to a cheaper place to maintain it. Just ask lots of questions about what shades they’re using so you know what to tell the other place.

I haven’t seen Bourne Ultimatum yet. I’m glad to hear you liked it. Whenever I get around to signing up for Netflix again I’m putting this one toward the top of the queue.

As for the hair, I love it!! I think if you got the highlights close to your natural color but just a little lighter, you wouldn’t have to go as often for touch ups. If you decide to do it–take some before/after shots.

Also, I’m somewhat miffed that you’re contemplating spending bazillions of dollars to color you hair when I’m not allowed to spend $50 to buy a decent hat and help stave off skin cancer while taking your eldest child to many outdoor events in the hot, hot sun. Just saying.
