Sounds funny!

Your son sounds so much like mine. He couldn’t care less about his costume either and my son ended up with a knight costume too. Weird!

On year two I waited entirely too long and ended up with a much too large bear costume. Which I paid entirely too much for.

This year I went cheap, he’ll be Woody for halloween, with a long sleeve red shirt (shut up, I couldn’t find yellow, so I did red shirt and yellow bandana) and jeans ($8.00), both of which he’ll wear again, I bought a sheriff’s badge ($0.10) a vest I made ($11.50 – pattern, $3.00 in material) a cowboy hat ($1.95 – thank you oriental trading company) and a bandana ($0.65) – if it weren’t for that stupid pattern I could have been much further ahead.

I fear that next year he’s going to actually have some kind of opinion about what he wants to be.

I’m so cheap that Nate’s not even getting one this year. I know he would look super cute as a pea in the pod, lion, dog, etc., but I refuse to drop $30 on something he will wear only one time. Plus, he isn’t going trick or treating anyway, so nobody would even see it. I’m sure next year we’ll be all in to the Halloween costume; he can wait until then!!
