I was sick the day of the test – but took it anyway, and I fell 2 points shy of the requirement. I missed the first day that everyone went, while my mom argued with the people in charge about how I should be let in anyway based on my other grades and stuff. They conceded and I got to go starting the second week. And I always felt like an imposter for it. However, the things I learned in that one day a week were so much more useful to me later than the things I was learning in my regular school day.
I hope he makes it in, and it sounds like he will, sooner or later.

Your list may be long but you deal with situations as needed. How you and N do everything necessary to keep two little people alive and thriving is beyond me, my parenting is still limited to our dog and he doesn’t even listen to me most of the time.
