I might try skiing again some day. I’m not sure yet. But I’m with you on being anti-camping and anti-RV. My husband is in love with the idea of getting an RV, but he wants to also hire a driver to drive us around. My husband is a weirdo.

One of the little things I miss the most about pre-parenting days is having a manual transmission car. Nowadays I need that other hand free to slap the kids around while I drive, but my next car is definitely going to be a stick shift. I don’t even care what it is – roadster, station wagon, semi truck – as long as it has a stick.

Your lack of outdoorsiness frustrates me. We were big on visiting national/state parks when I was a kid. I will admit, however, that the Grand Canyon stops being fascinating after about fifteen minutes.

I think I could skydive if the situation required it, but I’m not willing to pay someone for the privilege of jumping out of perfectly good airplane.

I don’t understand the appeal of skiing. Too much effort and money for just sliding down a hill.

I would TOTALLY buy an RV and travel around the country. I would also solve crimes in each town I visit and have a monkey for a navigator.

I was not allowed to date until I could drive a standard. It took a while, but I got it eventually.

As far as #2, last week’s CSI didn’t help me in thinking that would be a good idea (if you jump out of a plane enough times, your luck will eventually run out.)

I’m pretty sure the very first time I ever ski, I will break my leg, so that’s on my list too.

Also not interested in beer.

But I can do the camping, and RVing. But not the hunting – there are too many package of meat at the grocery store for me to feel like killing and cleaning an animal myself.

I feel like I wrote this blog! I can’t drive a stick, I don’t like heights (or falling from them), don’t want to go camping and WILL NEVER GO SKIING EVER EVER EVER AGAIN!!! The only thing I think I would add would be to go scuba diving.

I’m with you on #1. My dad attempted to teach me to drive a standard (and succeeded with my brother and sister), but I distinctly remember too many tears and dreading that he’d remember to pull over and let me drive on the way home when he’d pick me up after band practice.

I’ll have to get back to you on what my list would include, but I know it’d include watching some of the damn realities shows that just won’t go away. I am content to know nothing about them.
