But yeah, I haven’t even seen any of the other movies.

I had my first child seven years ago, got out of the loop when he was a baby and just never really got back to it. Between finding a baby sitter and paying an arm and a leg to see a movie, I find there aren’t that many movies that are worth the effort. Netflix is so much easier and if a movie sucks it’s no big deal. The only nominated movie I saw was Avatar and that’s only because my husband and I are big old sci fi geeks. It was a good movie, but I wouldn’t have died if I didn’t “experience” it. Feh.

I was talked into Alice and Wonderland last night (just…NO.), Avatar 2 weekends ago (actually many kinds of awesome, just GIVE IN. But do it in 3D.), and Sherlock Holmes at Christmas (You might like it. Very action-y and funny, too.). There. Those are my movie reviews.
